These terms govern your use of the Halal Games Studio mobile app (the "app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Halal Games Studio is an independently-developed mobile game offered through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Contact: halalgamesstudio.support@gmail.com.
The app creates an anonymous account for you when you first open it. You may optionally pick a username and display name to use the friends and leaderboard features. You are responsible for any activity that happens under your account, and for keeping the device you signed in on secure.
You can sign out and start fresh at any time from Settings. Doing so will issue you a new anonymous account; previous friends and scores remain tied to the previous account.

The app offers an optional paid upgrade called Studio Pro, available either as a recurring monthly subscription or as a one-off "lifetime" purchase. Pricing is shown inside the app and varies by region.
We own the app and its content (game design, prompts, word lists, artwork, copy). You may use it for personal, non-commercial play through the app. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell our content.
Anything you create or input through the app (such as your username, display name, or score) you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use solely to operate the app's social features. We do not claim ownership of those inputs.
The app uses third-party services (Apple, Google, Supabase, RevenueCat) to function. Their own terms and policies apply to your interactions with them. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The app's content draws from Islamic tradition (Surahs, Sahabis, Du'as, and similar). We have made reasonable efforts to be respectful and accurate, but the content is for entertainment and is not a religious ruling. For matters of faith, consult a qualified scholar.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be available without interruption, error-free, or compatible with every device.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it (for example, for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). UK consumer rights are not affected by these terms.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the app in a way that risks harm to other users or the service. We will give reasonable notice unless the breach is serious enough to need immediate action.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or the app will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
